Birthday Cards

I sat down this morning and made a handful of
cards using the same formula I saw at Splitcoast
Stampers, thanks Kristin Moore for sharing your
beautiful card. You can see Kristin's card here
I changed it a little by adding ribbon etc,

Supply List:
STAMP: Occasional Greetings (All Holidays in USA)
DSP: Bella Rose and Cottage Wall (from USA cattie)
CARD STOCK: Old Olive, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss.
INK: Old Olive, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss.
ACCESSORIES:Scallop Square Punch, Filigree Brad, Rhinestone Brads and ribbon.

I am quite impressed with how a simple formula can look so elegant. I will most definitely be making more!!!!!!!

Cheers for now Linda

gift card holders

Today I have some gift card holders to show you. I made three Christmas ones and three birthday ones for our friends teens, I thought it was a nice alternative than to just giving gift cards to teens in a plan old envelope! I made both male and female card holders using my retired DSP. I can't remember where I cased them from ? Will update when I find the blog.
UPDATE: I found the web site I got the video tutorial from Dawn Griffith (thanks Dawn!)

STAMPS: Circle of friendship (retired) and Christmas Punch (level 2 Hostess stamp set USA)
PUNCHES: Scallop circle, 1", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circles, wide oval and scallop oval, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" squares and both the tag and small tag punches.
CARD STOCK: Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue, Real Red and Sage Shadow
INK: Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke, Real Red and Sage Shadow.

Matchbook Post-It™ Note Holder

Hi me again, Today I have for you a matchbook Post-It™ Note Holder I made for my sister Vicki as a trinket Birthday Present. This project was simple to do (as I like easy projects) The tutorial by Cindy Coutts can be found here I made mine for the 3"x 3" post-it notes. I chose Old Olive and Rose Red CS, the pattern paper is Raspberry Tart DSP and I added a little bit of Kindy Glitz to the flowers for a bit of bling, the punch used for this project was the Eyelet Border punch (#113692 - $30.95 AUD) and I also used a bit of matching ribbon. Vicki loved her present as she likes to write lots of notes.
Cheers Linda

Idea Book & Catalogue Index Tabs

Hi, Its me back again! I hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas and a Joyful New Year. We spent Christmas with the family and than had a very quite night on Years Eve.
Today I am showing you the Index tabs I made for my Idea Book & Catalogue (This is a very easy project) all you need is the Round tab punch (#108340 - $30.95 AUD), Card stock (to match the categories) a label maker ( I used my Dymo label maker) and a xyron adhesive machine, If you don't have a xyron than Sticky Strip (#104294 - $12.95 AUD) will do the same thing.
Now all you do is punch out your card stock using the round tab punch, printout your categories on the label maker (I used the clear labels) adhere them to your punch outs then score tabs and place in adhesive machine or place sticky strips on back of tabs, once that is done peel tabs off the backing tape and carefully place them on the appropriate pages as I have done in the photos. I hope you all get inspired to make tabs for your catalogues,
